Before Fieldwork

All data collection forms (questionnaires) are Piloted prior to fieldwork to ensure that the questions are relevant, unambiguous, smooth and efficient. The pilot involves 1-2 interviews conducted by each of the interviewers prior to fieldwork.

Validation is undertaken to an agreed upon level in each country, where the original RESPONDENT IS RE-CONTACTED via telephone, email, post or face to face to not only check that the interview was conducted according to our stringent requirements but to check that the respondent had a positive experience of being interviewed by us.

Data Collection

After fieldwork completion, we engage in two levels of quality audit: (1) It is our standard that we analyze data by interviewer codes to ensure consistency across interviewers. (2) Using an independent team of back- checkers, we conduct an average of 85% telephone callbacks of completed interviews to ensure integrity and honesty of the data collec

VENGI has a clear SOP for pharmacovigilance; whenever an adverse event is encountered related to usage of client’s drug (in ad-hoc research project), VENGI will carry out the reporting of the AE in line with the PV procedure indicated by the client (if  formalized)
